e-bay question I found out how thanks

Postby pete42 » Mon Dec 24, 2012 7:46 am

I know some of you have bought items off of e-bay
I am interested in things like folding beds, tables, camper steps
is there a section I should be looking in since I don't seem to be having
much luck finding what I want.

thanks

pete

I did find a lot of things after searching for trailer lights thanks

I have found a number of things for Compass Rose on Ebay including the solar panel, LED bulbs, Espar heater... However other items are often to bulky or too expensive to ship to make them worthwhile. My rule generally is that if they end up costing more than half the item new, it is time to stop bidding. As an example I was looking at a used Propex heater from the UK postage would be more than $50 and the cost was bid up to $400. The cost of a new one is about $650.
Where to look on ebay, camping and RV stuff and you will be looking through a lot of stuff unless you get real specific. As an example I just did a ebay search on folding camp table and got 157, ALL of them more than I paid for at Camping World (not noted for low prices)
