Help Me Gage

Postby Vedette » Sat Jan 19, 2013 2:07 pm

Hi Gage
You have become my go to guy when this computer frustrates me.
So here is my new problem.
When I click on the posted pictures that are small they don't get bigger????
I just get a box popping up up that askes me if I want to save to TnTTT.
??????
Is there help for me?

Not all "small" pictures are links to bigger pictures. Some are small because they are meant to be (or required to be) small.

Since Gage has not answered, I will see if I can help you out. I will assume that what you are experiencing is the well known issue with the current version of Internet Explorer and how it reacts with the forum (this question has been asked many times). The best option is to use a different browser. Another option (the one I use) is to click on the user's gallery button under their avatar and view the pictures that way. I usually right click then choose open in new window. Then I can view as many pics as I want without having to back button to the post.

If the issue is Explorer, why not try Chrome. It's free & comes with handy goodies like CHrome store - free apps!

I use Firefox, and when I click on small pics, they get bigger... (I assume you are talking about the ones from the gallery)

So help me out and tell me which browser you are using, and give me a link to the picture that is not getting bigger...

I'll investigate!

Thanks Mike
Internet explorer.
Very intermittant?
Some work some don't.
Going to the posters personal album allows me to enlarge pictures.
But some of the picture attached to posts don't enlarge.
Even the ones I post, I can't seem to enlarge.
Thanks

why change to something else when IE works very well. yea right I have IE and I just live with it.

Sometimes, no make that most times when microsoft or apple changes things it doesn't mean it's better
windows 7, windows 8, Itunes, all are so much different from their predicessors that they come with a built in learning curve.

I too experence the picture opening problem maybe mike can find a soultion for IE's problems.

Here is link to Firefox download....

http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ne ... 74%2Cd.cGE

When it asks to import bookmarks/favorites from IE tell it yes... And never look at IE again....

I have been using Firefox since the time it was originally Netscape.... Only time I fire up IE is when I need to remind my self how lame it is....
