What is it?

Postby SarahMcDermott » Thu Jan 03, 2013 7:23 pm

Has anyone seen the new McDonalds commercial with a camper? Can anyone identify what it is?

Video can be seen here: http://www.ispot.tv/ad/7w61/mcdonalds-d ... dar-burger

Thanks!

There is not much to confirm make and year. So many trailers used the same same components and several used the same plans. I'll go out on a limb and say 1958 or 59 Boles Aero. I'm basing it on the windows and lights. It also has the cargo door on the right rear lower corner which Boles kept for a lot of years. And the door looks the part. I wouldn't bet the farm on it but I would be willing to bet maybe a paycheck.

My quandry is I don't recall anyone using these windows and quilted siding at the same time. The siding seam is in the right place for a Boles.

Thank you. I'll have to do a little more research. At first glance, it looks too small to be an Airstream, but much bigger than a teardrop.
