I was stationed in Long Beach at the Navy base aboard the USS Hornet and I had a 49 chevy I really like the license plates
when ever you saw them you thought Calafornia, just like the one's Florida had pre 1974 when you saw them you wanted
to head south to Florida but someone somewhere decided to change them and they haven't been the same since.

glad they are bringing back the old design in California.
