Yea Slow, the forum does seem quieter then normal. But for many of us the season is just getting started. I'll pull out Tear#2 soon and load it for the "Cooler By The Lake" gathering in Sheboygan Wisconsin. Two weeks to go so I will have to get going. If all goes well, Teardrop #2 will go up for sale after that. I took it to the last outing of last year and everything worked well. But I'd feel better giving it one more outing to be sure.
I've been stocking up on Coleman projects. Just have not had time to post. Last weekend I picked up 3 220's and a 425E for 13 bucks total. Added some fuel and a couple mantels and they all fired up. Then I found a 220D from 1951 in a home made wood box. Nice condition but it has a green font. All the 22D's I've seen had nickel fonts. Have to figure that out. But it fired right up too.
Slow, I have not seen any posts of the new stuff you are cooking in the new Dutch Oven. Maybe you can give Mom a break and practice making dinner. That way when the Walk the Winds gathering comes you will be a pro!

OK that's what I've got, who will be next?????

I had to hire everything done plumbers sure cost a lot.
I still need tile on floor in bathroom and the walls painted or papered
my great nephew noah 12 years old has been helping me by carrying the stuff I'm throwing away to the trash
4 hugh boxes and 6 garbage sacks of stuff I can see the bed in the spare bedroom now and all of my clothes are
hanging in the closet instead of on the bed I also bought a new sweeper the old one worked and I thought it worked well
but new upright picked up so much stuff I had to empty container after sweeping each room.

I got one more day vacation I have to use. It's use it or loose it.
May head over to the farm to get my generator out of my Silver Shadow I'm storing over there.
It's propane fueled so it won't smell up the apartment with gasoline smells. And no, I don't run it inside.
Roughly 200 miles one way.
This time of year the campgrounds are almost empty. ;)
I'll try to take a few pictures for ya.

I managed to drag the Voyager out of the lower garage and brought it up to the shop, getting it ready for the Dam which happens first week of May. For No. Cal. that's our first outing of the year. I'm so looking forward to getting out of town for a couple of days! Hope we have good weather. Working on cleaning it up a bit, maybe a quick touch up on some of the rock chips on the front tongue box, and I'll put a coat of wax on it for the season...helps to not allow tree sap to stick on it. I think I have all of the electrical supplies I need to "electrify" the Escaped2. I want it ready to go sometime next month, but we've been getting some rain and I'm not wanting to move Escaped2 into the garage to do the electrical. So, I guess I'll wait until later next week. I had to work at my part-time job every day last week, and at least 2 days next week, so we'll see how much time I have next week.

I ordered a cover from Amazon, but their idea of a "deluxe teardrop cover" is quite different than mine--I thought "Deluxe" meant "special"..... I think this cover will cover a teardrop as large as a T@B or maybe the Green Lantern. It's far too large for the 4 wide Little Guy Escaped2. So, I'm waiting for a 4 Wide Little Guy cover from Little Guy.

After the Hoosier Spring Gathering, I hope to redo the galley in the Escaped2. I need to think about that one some more. It will be simple--I'm not a fancy cook, so I just need a simple area that will keep the galley separate from the sleeping area. I've been collecting pictures of ideas of what I want and need. We'll see how that goes.

No, Slow, no pictures, 'cause I haven't done anything yet.

I've been working toward getting my tear ready for a Tearjerkers trip to Charleston SC the first week of May. The interior and just about all of the wiring is complete. Hoping my allergies/asthma will let me finish in time :NC . Plan to mount on the trailer by Monday and start installing the insulation. We'll see!

In Northern California, we had a late winter which filled our dams with much needed water. Now, the rain is diminishing and we are seeing some warm sun, right on schedule for the Kool April Nites car show and parade next weekend, and the Dam Gathering in two weeks!!! I guess it's time to start getting the trailer ready for some trips!

I planned on getting some work done on the "Bean" but I have had bronchitis for the last few weeks and today had trouble breathing. Feels like asthma to me so I may go to urgent care tomorrow. I am plain tired of being sick. It has been one thing after another since the first of the year. Doc does not like to give me antibiotics and was kind of miffed at the urgent care doc for giving them to me. Honestly they have not made a difference that I can tell. Lets hope I feel up to working on the Bean tomorrow.

sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Yep, was there with the three month cold again this winter. Had it last winter too.
Everyone at work had it too. We don't have sick leave. We're expected to show up no matter what.
Both times it was a really bad cold too. But we all survived it.
Such is life in a dental lab. :)

I pulled The Wing (Little Guy 5 wide) out of the shop and exposed it to the sun. Yes, we have had a couple of sunny, warm--60s days.
I put the curtains back up, aired it out, and have been getting it ready for an upcoming trip where I shall be camping by busy railroad tracks. Earplugs will be handy.

Tomorrow, I will be going to look at a tiny trailer-- an Eriba Puck.

Having successfully installed a cantilevered tongue/hitch to the rear of the Camry, now I have to undo the set up and revise it so it can be suspended from the hidden-hitch on my 2012 Cruze. I plan to use that arrangement to levitate the 3'x3', tip-out, slide-out and tip-up, teardrop up to the Dam Gathering, in about 2 1/2 weeks. I'll probably will have to have some welding done on the reconfigured anti-tip stabalizers, which slip onto the square tube that runs from side to side on the under-car hitch assembly.

Looking forward to seeing what kind of mileage I can squeeze out of the 1.4 liter, turbo-charged, 6 speed automatic tranny. The Book says 40 to 42 mph, and with no extra wheels on the ground and the 9 square foot, 100 lb teardrop in "floater-mode", we'll see. I guess I should carve a new wooden bumper that says, "Look Ma, no wheels". Seems like we always have rain on week ends lately, here in So Calif. I hope it is going to be dryer at Lake Shasta this year.
8) :?  Roly, leaving the Woody and Stacker at home, under a protected covered roof.

Quite frankly I wish my time was more boring, figuring out how to straighten the frame on Compass Rose and fix the damage from the accident is absorbing a great deal of thought. The insurance assessor was familiar with steel but not aluminum and did not know how to fix it. I have come up with a number of techniques for accomplishing that portion of the repair.
SO be careful of what you ask for, you just might get it!
