Last year I bought an American made Fatsco Pet Stove to fit into a tiny campervan, they can be mounted on a shelf/plinth if floor space is restricted, a technique favoured by live aboard boaters.

Works with charcoal briquettes (including smokeless briquettes) and wood. I bought mine direct from the lovely people at Fatsco.com.

Here's a pic of one with a pint water bottle for scale.

And that price is without the oven or the water heater features, since they are "coming soon"!

The emissions claimed on magazine article are off by a factor of about 1000. Kinda makes all the other claims a bit suspect in my mind.

40,000 BTU = 11.7 kwh (http://www.rapidtables.com/convert/ener ... to_kWh.htm)

11.7 kwh * .26 kgCO2/kwh = 3.042 kg of CO2 versus 3.2 grams per hour claimed. (http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/co2-e ... _1085.html)

Who ya gonna believe?

Cheers,

Gus
