My trailer is ready 5-weeks early!

Postby Racquetman » Thu Apr 03, 2014 3:30 pm

Yikes!!!!! I did'nt see that coming! I don't even have my TV ready yet, or the time set aside to pick it up early, I guess We need to regroup, and figure this out. And We were trying to plan for what We would do if it was ready late, they never gave us any hope of it being ready early. I have mixed emotions, excited and stressed at the same time.

Hey don't complain. I just had yet another conversation with my Toyota dealer about how they are seldom able to set my expectations as a customer at a time they are able to deliver. As a former customer service rep I would always set the time estimate longer and then we could deliver the completed service early and have smiles on the customers face (most of the time). But 5 weeks early is a big difference, bigger than I would expect. But still, better that than late most of the time.

I'm jealous. I still have five weeks of waiting left. Be happy and enjoy, it will all work out.

Don't be stressed, just enjoy all the extra time you can spend touching, and enjoying your dream!

Have someone help you pick it up, get it home, then relax. :relaxing:

Waiting for "someday" will leave you on your deathbed wondering why you didn't just rearrange your priorities and enjoy the time you had, instead of waiting for a "better" time to come along...

Hey your right MtnDon, what a'm I complaining about, I got my TD early, it's certainly better than getting it 5 weeks late, I wish I had known they were gonna be early, thats all. You guys are all right, it will work out great in the end, we are probably going to pick it up in two or three weeks, it's just not always easy to get away without some planning, we own a small business, and it's the beginning of our busy season. It sure will be a lot easy-err when we retire.....LOL.

Hey Brian, I think We figured out a way to pick up the trailer next weekend if everything falls into place, however we still won't make the Dam because of other plans we can't change. But over all, when the smoke clears, we will be blessed with an extra month of camping possibilities..... :-)

Yep, We are going to make the Gorge, I'm excited to use the trailer, learn how to back it up....LOL (I've never had a trailer) and meet some new friends, so We'll see you in May. Meanwhile, we will get a couple of practice runs in closer to home, and try to figure out what camping gear we need to add. Thanks Brian, for all the engouragement and info. along the way, looking forward to meeting you and your Bride, and oh yes, Mrs. Piggy too!
