42 this morning at 0550 hrs with 62 forecast. Pretty much a winters day for us.
It does get colder on occasion but not by much.
I am afraid I could not handle the cold some of you folks in the USofA have to put up with. This is cold enough for me.

Farmers pretty happy on our patch, good rains at the beginning of winter. Some follow up in the near future hopefully.
Rainfall is variable across the wheat belt in Western Australia, some will get good rains, some next to nothing. And in some areas of the wheat belt it is none too viable anymore due to climate change. Some farmers are giving it away in these marginal areas and there is a high suicide rate as well due to debt etc.
Only the south west corner grows cereal crops, too dry to do so anywhere else in Western Australia.

Around 40 degrees here. The sun is just rising and the bay is a pretty sight. All observed from the inside of the house. Too damn cold outside and very still. The only sound is the chittering of the birds as they awake.
One month of winter gone, July is our coldest.

It's been between 100-105 fer a few days now here In Riverside,Ca....I decided to go boondocking in the mountains with my 5 yr old grandson. It was near 80 at the high and near 60 fer the low...perfect weather fer campin ! We hiked and even played basketball with sum sticks fer a hop and sum pine cones fer a ball.

Comin down the Mtn. was BRUTAL to be in the 100 degree+ heat ! We could feel the temp rise as we descended the Mtn.

It was a few degrees cooler here today. Only about 96 instead of yesterday's 102. Tomorrow should be above 100 again. I hope we don't work tomorrow but then I need the money. Never happy, never happy.
