General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

I gotta go back and read all these. This is great. I'm Normspeed, short for Norm's Speed Shop. Norm's Speed Shop is what I've always called my driveway, garage, shade tree, front yard, upstairs bedroom or place out at the curb where I work on my toys. Goes back to Ft lauderdale in the 1960's-80's.

Road Trip, if you're out there, didn't you once help me to rebuild a VW motor in the top floor bedroom of my apartment?

I have been using this nick since I've been online for everything. I am a Star Trek fan so the Krang is a Klingon name... the 469 thing is uh ... well.. a sexual referance. :D

I build S.P.A.D. RC airplanes. Simple Plastic Airplane Design. These planes are almost indestructible. I have terminated a few in my time hence the name Spadinator.

The Archer_1 nickname is one I've been using for years; I'm the sometime manager of the Archery booth at the Southern California Renaissance Pleasure Faire. After investigating tears for the last six months and lurking on this site for a least a month, my wife and I bought a 2003 Camp-Inn 550 Ultra; just picked it up over the weekend. It sure is purty. :D

I have to agree with the folks who get caught by surprise with the amount of attention these little guys get; we caused a minor sensation at every place we stopped and all along the road from Oxnard down to Ontario. I'm looking forward to taking it on its 'shakedown' (for us, anyway) trip to Sedona Az. this weekend. 8)
Everybody enjoys a good pun; its just that nobody has ever heard one!

mine comes from a very satisfying hobby that started one day when my son came home from collage and said, Dad, we should brew some beer. I said OK, and that was about 12 years ago.

Glad you cleared that up, I thought it was because you had a Saab Sonnet.
