Years ago we had cb radios in the cruisers, before Nextel. And the county makes us wear the dark green polyester uniforms. I worked I-95 for many years. The truckers used to call me Green Hornet.

BUMP!

Wow, it's been almost 21 months since this has thread has had any updates. There have been alot of new peeps that have joined since then and I think it would be cool if the "new guys" wink wink would reveal their choice of usernames.

If you don't want to fish through all the replies for my choice (you should anyway), mine comes from the movie "Pow Wow Highway". The character Filbert buys a POS car with a bottle of wiskey, a sack of weed and calls it his War Pony, the Protector.

Cause I couldn't think of anything better at the time... and I live in a little bitty podunk town in FL. I could have used my "road name" from being a long time biker... Lugnuts. They started calling me that years ago because I used to carry a few old lugnuts around in my pocket for tossing over my shoulder at cages that did stupid things when we were out riding.

Victor Star is from a Roger Waters song called Watching TV. Roger was Pink Floyds front man and the creative genius for the band. It's about a young lady that was shot down in the Tiananmen Square massacre in China 1989.
Half superstar half victim. She's a Victor Star conceptually new.
I've used the name on message boards for years.

I use fowled plugs. My biker name was/is "Deadhead" becuse of 'Steal your Face" on the primary cover of my old FLH.

In the Ohio Valley towns so small they have city limits on both sides of the same sign are known as poke'n'plumbs--for poke yer head out the winder and you're plumb outa town.
