I went and talked to the guy who has my frame, man is there lots of snow there .Grrrrr oh well good things come to those who wait, But he has all the original papers for the trailer, that you get from the dealer so that should be good....now just have to find out the wheel hub size si I can get a pair to move it home....then the fun begins
There is a world, just beyond now,
where reality runs a razor thin seam between fact and possibility;

Anywhere I roam where I lay my head is home....

Spent time on You Tube! Learning to fiberglass. I may have to make fiberglass storage boxes for my tent trailer. You tubes great for that sort of thing! Hopefully begin work on those boxes this Sunday.

For the X-II, I built a second ghetto-fab battery cage, bought two brand new Interstate deep cycles (for less than the cost of one AGM), and worked on designing a mounting system for my new giant solar panel. The two Interstate 27-M deep cycles I got actually have higher capacity than the Optima D27M.

I've also been helping a good friend build a teardrop for he and his wife. I designed it in AutoCAD and Revit, and this is our progress after about 6 weeks of work.

Only 3 more weeks to go until the first camping trip!

Yes a homebuilt utility.
It is the weight that makes it so easy! I think s long as it was under 2500 lbs.
I was pleasently suprised !

Slow, you might check to see if your trailer is covered by the TV insurance once it is disconnected from the TV. Most of the time it is not.

Same here in Nevada. No trailer insurance. Today I'll start on the under floor storage boxes. My friend is supposed to come over today with his new bike. A Road King. If it's warm enough I may not get much done! :R

So, you've gone over to the dark side with Revit. Do you have your teardrop families set up?

Say isn't that a new solar panel I see in the background?

Hey Harleycamper.
I built under floor storage in Miss Piggy 44" wide x 36" long 8" deep, with two hinged lids.
Our mattress is split in the middle to allow each side to be flipped onto the other with a one piece mattress cover which acts as a hinge, so you can easily access on side or the other. This storage area was made to accomodate two of the under bed rubbermaide storage totes. These seal nicely and come in and out easily. We will carry all of our clothes and laundry in these as we travel (laundry day will be when one is full and we have opportunity to stop to wash and fold clothes) we will just move clothes back and forth.
With the toates that measure 18 1/2" x 34 1/4" there is still room for some loose items to be stored around them without coming directly in contact with our clean clothing.
We hope is works a s well as planned!

Yup, been working in Revit for a few months now. And it just so happens that I do have them loaded in :)

And correct again - thats the new 140W panel! I just ordered some bimini hardware to use as mounting points on the trailer, but haven't got any further than that. Its not going to be mounted permanently, but I'll be able to put it on during the day, lock it to the mounting points, and leave the campsite without worrying about it disappearing.
