is the 9th pic down Cachuma Lake on HWY 154?
by any chance did you stop in Cayucos during your trip? it's just north of Morro on PCH. it's our favorite getaway town.
Yes, going down HWY 154 was highly recommended by Dennis "dmb90260" and I'm glad he did. It's a stunning drive, and even if you can only relate to just one thing with Michael Jackson, you understand why he built Neverland there.
I'll have to stop in Cayucos next time for sure. I usually hang out in Cambria for a few days, then in route pass up Cayucos and hang in Morro Bay for a day.. Next time I'm going to explore Cayucos and not drive by it. Thanks for the local tip!

i thought i recognized it. i'll be leaving for Cachuma tomorrow morning for a long weekend of fishing and beer...because you can't have one without the other.
my wife and i ride to Santa Barbara often for lunch and a quick blast on 154. it's a beautiful road. i don't mean to hijack your thread, but we do love pics on this site, right!?!
i wish i would have seen your thread before your trip. i would have recommended Cayucos. it's a sleepy beachtown that hasn't changed much since the '50s. there's nothing to do except relax and play in the surf. as a matter of fact, my avatar pic was snapped on the Cayucos pier.
again, thanks for sharing your pics. it looks like it was a great trip.
