Hobbies...

Playing with CAD is a good hobby. You can design your Teardrop virtually, and make sure all the pieces fit, before you make any sawdust.

Playing with CNC is a good hobby. You can cut all your Teardrop pieces on your CNC machine, and everything should be just as designed!

Playing with a Camera is a good hobby. We like dem pictures!

Playing with Photoshop is a good hobby. You gotta hide your mistakes somehow!!! ;)

How many drummers does it take to change a light bulb? What do you need a light bulb for? Nobody is looking at the drummer.

Q: What's the difference between a drummer and a large pizza?

A: A large pizza can feed a family of four!

Sorry, couldn't resist the setup.....

 Isn't it great when threads take a funny turn.... I play at quilting and sewing. Dabbled at cheap jewelry making. And I like to fish! The Td was driven by a desire to not come home when the fish were biting. I figured if Mike could read or sleep I could fish 24/7... 8) Life got in the way but the goal hasn't changed... ;)

I only know one.

What's the difference between a drummer and a savings bond? A savings bond will eventually mature.

Actually, my profession is photography and graphic design.

If you have a name for your TD, and want a computer file you can use to cut out some vinyl for it, I don't mind doing that for free for my TD brothers and sisters.

I have the honor of making the file for the famous "Sierra Nomad." 8)

There is very little that I will do for free when it comes to my profession, but I see this as payback -- forum members have done really nice things for me.

I'm working on having "CaseyKraft" cut in steel by a friend of mine who works at Jay Leno's shop. Yeah, Jay has a CNC and a Calypso Water Jet. :envious:

Since NBC took over the place, he has to get permission for everything. Maybe someone here can do it. Who knows.

HEY! I'm a drummer. :x

Oh, wait a minute -- I kind of verify some of those drummer jokes.

But, drummers do get the ladies. 8)

Well, when they are young, thin and don't have any grey hair. :(

How many on here watch the mens' soap opera, Axmen? Well, I run around checking up on logging operations with calmer operators than those on TV. I'm a forester. At least until April, then I think I'll pull the plug. My feets are wearing out. I have a hard time keeping up with the 20 something hooktenders (guys who rig up the skylines) . Can't really help with much except for getting firewood. I have lots of that and a good saw. I can make a Scandihoovian Candle, AKA Chaser Smudgepot.

Hobbies are kayaking, skiing, and putting around in my mini forest. I took the Little Guy, and plan to do so again, to a chainsaw gathering.

I have a good friend who plays the banjo. I think the same jokes are told about banjo players and then you can add the Deliverance factor in.
I'm trying to learn to play the fiddle. Again.

This thread has gotten so far off track, I had to go back to page 1 to find the relevance of this comment!

My main hobby is rock climbing. Which doesn't help with the building - but it'll sure help with the using. This ol' back is getting a little stiff sleeping on the ground.

Q: How do you confuse a drummer?
A: Put some music in front of him.

Q: What did the drummer get on his IQ test?
A: Saliva.

Q: How can you tell if the drum riser is level?
A: The drummer drools out of both sides of his mouth.

...ok.....I'm done......sorry, I just couldn't help myself...
