I found the comany in china that makes them. I guess I'll try to call them and see who they sell to. If I find anything out I'll let everyone know. It looks like a great set up for summer shade. If all els fails I'll make one myself.

I have one that I will sell you. It was called a Kelty Shadehouse. I think they are discontinued.

It looks like this...

We have the Event 14 shade. I hate putting it up. I hate taking it down. Three of the legs have broken. I love it once it is up. Only take on extended three days or more trips.
Good day every day!

Well, its definitely not a quick "pop-up" type of shelter. It does take some effort to set up and take down. But, for me, I don't think its that big of deal. I remember back during the spring I took it on a quick overnight trip and set it up over the camper. During the night a good rain came through and continued into the morning hours. It was nice to be able to get out of the TD without getting wet, open the hatch and make morning coffee and breakfast without getting wet. Also, we pitch our potty tent next to it and never get wet if we need to make a middle of the night run.

Just my own experience, others will like something else better.

Good Luck,

Mike

You might like to have a look at these people too. I received one for Xmas gift & it suits us pretty well. Bit of a mission to put up by oneself, better with two, but it does the business for shade, wind & privacy as required. Being a tri-pod configuration, may not suit everyone though, but it is stable in the wind.

Edit: Not originally designed for a teardrop but we've adapted to fit in with our style of use. One visitor to to the campsite site commented that the shelter poles were stronger than a brick outhouse. Not sure I agree on that one though.

I would like to get some side walls for mine. Would you mind checking to see how much they would cost?

Thanks Justin and katy, I think I got it. My sis has an Ebay account and I had her buy it for me. Now I'll look into getting walls for it. I was on the site finn had posted and they have walls with zip doors. not sure if they will ship to the U.S or how much it will cost. Might make my own. I have found a fabric store that sells pack cloth and tent fabric. ( Seattlefabrics.com) If I find anything out I'll post it.

I know the frame is different on my Event Shelter, but for my E-Z Up that we use at home on the deck I just fasten shower curtains with the big shower curtain rings. Works really well as a sun block. May not work with the arch of the Coleman Event Shelter, but you might give it a try.
