Happy 69th, Pete!

I would think next year would be the milestone at 70! Aim for 100. If you make it, you'll probably get free cake and a party. :P

Meanwhile, enjoy life with all the gusto you can muster!

I dunno yer WHOLE story, but I got one... My family tree doesn't favor "longevity".

My Dad died at 46 and when "I" turned 31 our lives were PARALLEL in WAY too many ways..

Thought fer SURE "I" would be dead at 46..jus KNEW IT !

Once I reached 44 I was TERRIFIED !! 45 and I was a basket case the WHOLE YEAR !

Made my peace with God and wrote out my last will & testiment and nervously awaited the END ..

I'm MUCH older than that now..and EVERY day is a gift !The "bucket list" is ever growin and depletin at the same time..

I figure..life is fer the LIVIN !! So I'm LIVIN it by golly !!!

Glad yer still with us Pete !!!

Hey Pete,

Congrats on making it to 69,

I hit 60 last year and now this year I am planning to go to my 1st Burning Man. That will be less than 2 weeks before my 61st. Growing up in the shadow of the bomb I was always amazed we made it another year. Making long term plans just didn't seem to be worth while.

Thats my story and I am sticking to it.
