How do YOU "do it"?

General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

I think there was a thread on this subject before, maybe. I was interested in the subject, too! At least, I remember considering using a comforter cover I had in lieu of the bottom sheet (kind of like Becca's describing)--but it sounds like the sheets sewn into a bag idea didn't work that well. Anyway....

We find it most comfortable to use sheets, a blanket, and a comforter--more like sleeping at home. Like Becca, we use full size sheets on a queen mattress (took me awhile to figure this out, but with queen sheets there was way too much to tuck in. The tear mattress is enough thinner than a conventional one that the fulls work--but there's still a lot of crawling around in there, a la Bob and Vicki! Our mattress is a split queen, but I don't think that makes bed-making any easier.

We always make it up before we leave home because then we don't have our butts sticking out the doors when we arrive at the campground and are making the bed. It's easier if two people do it together, but it also somewhat reminds me of putting up wallpaper.
