Wayne, that is a work of art. That's really looking good. Makes me feel like I want one even though I don't need it

Great job

For some reason it has taken me until now to realize that a modifed kampmaster design that sleeps 4 is the perfect fit for my family! I am going to have to look into this very soon. Sleeping and sitting quarters and a chuck box for the bed of the tow vehicle. Dose anyone have the axle location for the original kampmaster?

Hey Slow. I can stand up in my teardrop and its size is the basic 4x8 with no pop up.

Before it goes, and before it gets its new clothes, how about a few photos showing the rear door and frame folding as the hatch comes down. When I've drawn that detail, I've found that it is incredibly sensitive to the length of the parts - get the top or bottom half 1/4" too long and it wants to fold clean through the floor

SLow.

There is a lid for the top of the foot well to make floor level. And the bottom of the foot well has another hatch that comes up. As it was made long after the build it is a bit small but still usable and has come in handy a few times.

 Did you know that the ‘Wild Goose’ and the ‘Kampmaster’ are two different trailers although they do look alike? The Kampmaster is manufactured, whereas the Goose is home built using plans published in a magazine. :o

Wayne, thanks for those 'half way up' photos - it is really impressive that that little step on the back can take all of a person's weight.

From those photos, do I assume right that the folded door sits well above the floor when the hatch is right down? And are there any stops (maybe on the front of the galley cabinets) that support it in the folded position, or does it have to hold itself up while being towed?

Sorry to everyone for me labouring this point, but it's hard to see how the door doesn't waggle itself to pieces!

I did not know that Gage, that is interesting. I'm not a purist when it comes to that stuff though, and use them interchangeably. Same thing for the modernistic, modernaire and Cub. I use Modernaire just because I like the name better. I hope it doesn't confuse of offend anyone, if so I can try to change LOL

The door does sit well above the floor, And there are no stops that hold it there.
I guess the test of time proves that it works.
