The only thing I store in my under the bed storage space is stuff for a REAL emergency. The kind of emergency you don't mind taking your entire bed apart for. As a matter of fact, after my last camping trip I took even more stuff out from under the bed. Just shows how little I would want to go under my bed on any kind of REGULAR basis. I don't think I would even miss not having storage under the bed!

Hi, Mark. Do you have a vent for the battery?
Since this life here and now is all we can know, our most reasonable option is to live it fully.

I removed the under bed storage on my SS & rerouted the wiring down the drivers side. Too much of a hassle to get stuff out and remake the bed. Now I have more head room.

Mine is integrated into the body shell. I am taking 6 inches out of the tongue box to increase the length of the sleeping area.

The box itself will hold all the electrical including battery.

So far the only thing in the tongue box is the AGM battery and the wires to hook up the two solar controllers. Up to this point I have been getting all the, already installed, stuff to actually work and adding the Sirus and electric eliment to the water heater and a whole bunch of rewiring. My plan is to start next week to install the compressor and the MPPT solar controller when temperatures and humidity drop.
I will do a picture story like I did for the AC unit.

I have my battery in mine. I built a sliding tray in which I place tools and different kinds of rope. I'm glad I did. The big stuff, the four way wrench a tarp, and other big stuff needs to be in the bottom. The smaller stuff I often use is in the tray. I'm pleased with how it came out. A friend was so surprised by the quality, he calls it the Ark of the Covenant!

I keep the battery in ours plus a tool kit, tire jacks and wrenchs. plus anything else we may need for setup. I also keep kindling in there on top of the battery. patrick

Yes, two of them. Just can't see them in the picture.
