You have that backwards, they will absorb heat faster.

If they lost heat, they'd be forever cold.


I chose not to take my painkillers today (so far) so I was a bit distracted. Apparently you followed my explanation so all was not lost. The post contained about 140 words, I got one wrong. I'll give myself a passing grade. Still I think I may have enlightened a few, maybe not.

Re Gatoraid bottles: I have found them to useful "in the middle of the night" and at other times. I'll what I use them for to your imagination.

Used Blue Ice for a while. Works great for a two-day or weekend trip. Same with the ice in bottles. But on longer trips where ice needs replacing, you have to find some place to store the empties and put crushed or block(preferred) in anyway. Now, content to pack stuff so it doesn't get wet and buy block ice as needed. Block ice in a reusable bag to hold the water might be nice-haven't found anything, yet.
