I always like the fiberglass pod looking things. Only real place for them to leak is around the doors and windows, and it they do, no wood to rot out. That should last for a while.

I love your map. But how do you get your Tear Drop from the states you have in color (assume those were the ones you visited with your TD) without going thru the (white) states?
