Jim, my trailer had a ton of crap that I later realized was totally unnecessary.

Actually, it seems I'm living in alternate universe than others on this board where window shaker A/C units run off cheap harbor freight inverters when powered by a car start battery.

I have to be careful, lest I get sucked into a world where empirical testing and measuring is eschewed.

Hopefully the first post I made about the window a/c units will be helpful for anyone who is looking at adding one of those models of a/c units to their trailer (or any off-grid dwelling), since the max wattage pull isn't listed anywhere on web sites or spec sheets. :)
