True. There is wasye a fraud in all levels of government everywhere. I can hardly for the reports in Kansas City when the start to build thier street car line down town. The resident population is sparse as it is a largely commercial aream so aprox. 600 people got to decide if all the buisinesses would get to have their property taxes increased for a poorly planned addition to the public transportation system. The two mile street car line will cost an estimated $100 million to build. Will there be cost overruns? You bet there will. It's a government money grab after all. Ind at the same time, The city is plagued with failing water mains and a 200 year old sewer system that is under federal order to be upgraded at a cost in the billions of dollars. But folks would rather put the money into a useless toy train. It ain't just Cali.

That's peanuts compared to the California Bullet Train:

Wished you had not mentioned that....... Before its done its going to be $250 BILLION ... California is poster child on how to spend monies foolishly and we can not seem to change any of those responsible in state legislature....

But don't they get cold? Or do they stay in a warm barn to make up for it?

we are in this mess all together.

I just can't understand what is wrong at state and local county goverment leval as well as federal and the national goverment.

what is wrong with getting your budgets in order and whats wrong with if your broke stopping spending.

I mean I got no money and no job and I am not still trying to blow money like a freight train.

when your broke. I mean your broke and you don't pass a hardship down to everyone else to make up for it!

in other wards forget the increased taxes and inflation rates and store cost and learn to live with less money in your budget than you had before.

if the american people are so broke and out of money than whats wrong with the goverments learning to join the broke crowd and live like the rest of us have to?

just my 2 cent beefs.

Got to get money out of politics. The problem is we have the politicians big money bought, not the politicians the country needs. As long as the politicians have to cozy up to large donors to get the money they need to get elected, they will be selling their votes for that money.
