check out this guy's plans for take apart boats to fit inside a standard car trunk, most of them would go perfectly inside a TD

You're not even safe in the air down there either.

For some strange reason, I do too. However, on that one, I would add some sort of foot rest so that your feet don't have to dangle in the water unless you want them to.

Here are a few more pics of that boat. You can also get a transport dolly for it.
I've always wanted a oar propelled fishing boat because where I fish at (peabody coal mines), most of the strip pit lakes are small bodys of water. It's also a plus that I wouldn't have to license it if it doesn't have any kind of motor.

Larry if you have the money and you want to buy then go ahead or design one and build it with support from foamlings, I want to build some type of boat to fish from too. I have to build my TD first. I fish in farm ponds mostly and some of them get pretty big.

My pine tree in the back yard dropped its dead limb and I have to pick up, 8 inch diameter. 25 feet long and hundreds of small branches with it. I have something to do while thinking not today tho, it is raining. and the weatherman said the s word.

Larry, you seem pretty fond of that pontoon boat; so, it could be a match made in heaven.

Among the good points are that it is made in the USA. Plus, it seems to be reasonably efficient, with a place for each foot, and places for your gear, oars, etc.

Among the questionable points is that it weighs 300 pounds; so, even if it comes apart, into let's say three pieces, it could be a formidable job to lift it onto the top of your tow vehicle or teardrop. I don't remember if you have a truck or not; but, if you have a truck, you could probably wheel it into the truck bed via a ramp. But, you've probably thought that all out.

Hi Sharon

I like that boat so much that I went ahead and ordered it earlier today from cabela's. I think you have it confused, the weight capacity is 300lbs but the actual boat weighs 67lbs. Now I can take my camper and boat out to the strip pits and camp and fish. Here is the link to the makers of that boat. http://www.ventureoutdoors.net/pontoon_boats.htm

slow, I would still say go ahead and build a boat like mine 97140 the plans are free, the boat is built of one sheet of 1/4" plywood, a few strips of wood, poly construction adhesive and covered with porch and floor exterior paint (mis-tint at the hardware store) . less than $60. you've got the time...
I can stand up in mine, or sit high up when I want to most of the people who ask me where to get one want it to get out on the water fishing. I could probably make some money on the side selling them around the ponds here
