Slow, I don't know what you mean exactly by" full size" but this truck is a V6, 3.9L, supposed to get 17-22 mpg on the highway. We'll see. I agree about securing things in the back. We'll have to scratch our heads over that one for awhile. But I'm loving the fact that it will be so easy to throw our bikes in the back and go. No bike rack hanging on the trailer. All the things that I was worried about, where will I store the E-Z up, can I take a grill, how many chairs can I fit....when you're towing with a Jeep it's all problematic, from both the weight standpoint and the storage area. This truck, and its large bed, opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

I have the chevy version v6 and I get that kind of mileage 17-22 with the trailer.

I had to get 4.88's to get back to the sweet spot. I even get 12.5 mpg over all. not to shabby for a brick.
