I went with a flat lid standard profile. For the money I saved not getting the low profile I not only upgraded to the 5000r but also paid $40 less at vintagetrailersupply.com . For the upgrade and cost savings I can deal with the extra fraction of an inch.

Help!!! My fan lid is not closing all the way. I might try calling customer service tomorrow but any suggestions?

Yep, they are sending me a new arm and lid. :) Glad I went with Fantastic Fan.
