I never camped in my life except for once in a tent and it was OK but a pain in the butt and I could never see myself acquiring and loading and unloading and setting up a tent style campsite, but I had always been a nature lover who loved hiking and offloading and enjoying nature any way and built my teardrop one the left in my signature with full steam.
Once it was done, I realized, I wanted to live this way so I sold it to get the down payment on 4ac in the woods where I now live. I haven't gone camping in a year and a half and I own three campers now! the current assortment is the right photo in my signature.
I do not have a significant other, but I rationalize it like this:
1. I have been building the teardrop as a quick build to get me camping again ASAP which is now finally ready!
2. The 10 foot 1974 Prowler on the right has now been gutted, and once completed, I will sell the teardrop and camp with a King Sized bed, Shower and storage, that's about it for the floor plan.
3. The best looking 10 foot 1978 Playmor is now gutted and what I will take my time restoring, Once completed, I will park the Prowler in the back of my woods and run water and electric to it to act as my guest house and to be a permanent campsite for when I want to camp out at my own place.
I run a 73-77 Monte Carlo club and that is my other love and prior major interest ad at one point I owned four of them, so I am definitely a collector, but I don't blow a lot of cash, I am building the teardrop, my mom gave me the Playmor and I got the Prowler for $375
