Thanks for the input guys. I already got the stapler and tried it. Nice tool especially for $16 :D As for details, I plan on using T molding for the door edges and seal. As far as grafting, one side is done. Glued and used about 7-8 biscuits. I could reinforce the joint with fiberglass I suppose. I have quarter inch ply for the roof with spars, and half inch for the hatch.
I'll be asking for advice on door handles and hinges etc in the near future. Seriously contemplating taking the whole week off to work on this

It would help for you to start a build thread. An album of parts and progress photos too. Your information is scattered all around and hard (confusing) to follow. You seem very skilled, with a good shop to work in. Presumably you have a paint booth and or spray equipment for painting and varnishing or similar. You have much more experience in an auto body and paint shop than I do as a home teardrop builder.

Without knowing more about what you want/plan to build it's difficult to know what (good, well intentioned) ideas or advice to share. Don't want to lead you down a wrong path.

It really would help if you provide some basics of what it is you want to build in one place...a build thread is best for that IMHO.

Grant Whipp doorhandles and Frank Bear Door_Handles__Latch_Kits each sell door handles/locks. Windows, hurricane hinges and much more. Frank sells the PD 4045 power center though it's not on his web site.

pd4045 PD4045-45-Amp-Inteli-Power-Mighty-Mini-Power-Center add to your shopping list?

You asked so here are some ideas for your consideration:

:) Shopping list from etrailer.com http://www.etrailer.com
Qty Product Total
1 38656 - Trailer Wiring Junction Box $13.25
2 STL78RB - Sealed, 6-1/2" Oval LED Trailer Stop, Turn and Tail Light, Flange Mount, 10 Super Diode $35.90
2 A78RXB - Snap-on Reflector Ring for STL78RB Series LED Lights - Red $3.90
2 TJ01RT - Stabilizer Jack - 650 lbs $35.90
2 MCL45AB - Double Bullseye LED Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light, 1 Wire, 10Diode - Amber $19.90
2 MCL46RB - Double Bullseye LED Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light, 2 Wire, 6 Diode - Red $19.90
4 383700 - Chrome Flush Hinge for Cargo Trailers $45.96
Total: $174.71
:)

Maybe a swivel jack for the tongue too.
All the lights are LED
a junction box under the frame makes repairs or upgrades easier IMHO
stabilizer jacks for the rear
door hinges

all just suggestions

I would use 1/4" plywood (or maybe 1/8" fiberglassed for strength and weather proofing) for the hatch to make it lighter to lift and close. Use your 1/2" for a galley counter top and or to make galley drawers. Especially if you already have a sheet of 1/2" baltic birch.

Another suggestion get your trailer licensed with the floor attached before you build anything else on top. It's probably easier now than later and may save you extra fees/sales tax later plus more paper work documentation and hassle. :) :?

Thanks for all the help. I guess the saw dust thread should be where I ask my questions etc. I'll post a couple questions in there since I have questions on the doors that Im currently working on
