Welcome to Estonia

Postby MeelisV » Thu Nov 10, 2005 2:54 am

oooo it is really friendly bunch. THANKS. :)

labdien! "shil" I dont know much about Latvia but yes Riga is interesting city. Probably Latvia is my fist or second destination to travel with TD.

Päivä Heikki en puhua suomea täman paljo mutta ümmäran (Hi Heikki I dont speak finnish much but understand it) and like we say Helsinki is suburban to Tallinn :D
I have been in Finnland and Helsinki few times.

Thanks for all your appreciation me.

Are you planning on bouncing that on some rugged trails? yes - you dont know but in Estonia we have only rugged trails. :x
I didnt take final pictures where we make bracets to shock absorbers too but pic. are coming (sometimes).
And in shape I think it will be similar to http://www.steve-frederick.com/DSCN1280sm.jpg or http://www.gages-56.com/finish.html ......
We have metric system and the whole cabin will be 1500 mm wide, 2900 mm lenght, 1500 mm high, Its then ~59 in. x ~114 in. x ~59 in. why so big – I have son under year and he wants sleep there to.

Ok then finaly that english thing I shy but here I have good help from http://aare.pri.ee/dictionary.html?switch=en like finnish the english is same I understand but dont speak well/much.

Meelis,

Don't worry about your English. You are doing fine. We understand what you are trying to express and that's all that is needed. You've a new bunch of friends here, so just keep us informed about your building project.

Meelis I have to admit - I didnt think of having them "Wheel Adapters" bought or made ... I guess I,ll have to use that method next time...

I had the hubs redone to match the US Bolt pattern by welding up the 4 bolts and adding the longer bolts to the new holes.. Perfect match.. but
more work... But okay its done...

I did it my way sings "Elvis Presley"... I dont know if they have ready
made wheel adapters for the utility trailers here but for the Old Chevy
truck of ours I did find some... ok thats a lil different....

But its fun to be building the teardrop... and with so many folks to ask questions from and receive good educational answers and Ideas....

Best Wishes

actually "old blue eyes", Frank Sinatra sang that song as his signature song in his later years(course Elvis might have sung it also)

Yes, Madjack, you are actually mistaken. (is that possible for an administrator?) Elvis did adopt it as one of "his" songs in later years. I even read somewhere that he believed it was actually written for him. Can you believe the guy's ego??????

Chris...as I was sitting on the can doing my morning contemplation I remembered Elvis singing that song...it is still ol'blue eye's song, no matter...it's amazing what may come to you while contemplating the wall paprer :o  ;)

p.s. it would actually make a good anthem for this board, since we all have a tendency to doit our own way...regardless of what advice we may recieve to the contrary

Oh, the song belongs to Ol Blue Eyes..............no doubt about it. 8) But Elvis thought it was his. And, yes, it is amazing what we contemplate while contemplating!
