nop... it s not a problem to use them and they are made for this. if you want to dry everything after, 15min with the ceramic heater on high and no one inside, windows slightly open for ventialation and it will dry up everything.

. mine always dry up very quickly in winter after we exit the trailer..... it s mainly the moisture from your breathing that you see on the windows...

I've used mine in the winter down around zero and had no moisture problems.

So we camped out in the new trailer last night, it was -10 C and snowing. Cozy in the sleeping bags, I had a small cheapy ceramic heater
set to low so that it would come on for 10 or 15 minutes or so about every hour just to maintain a base level of heat. Had a window open
slightly. It was all good except the noise from the heater fan would wake us up when it came on...which got old pretty fast!
What IS the best electric option for doing this...small enough to fit in my under bed storage when not needed, quiet, yet energy efficient.
Maybe a small low profile convection heater would be better choice?? Trailer came with a Mr. Heater Propane Buddy which works great,
but I'm leary of using that inside even with window cracked open since how do you know it's open enough?

Been traveling and just getting to this thread. That is one great looking trailer with a lot of good features. I have not seen one anywhere. I am sure you will have plenty of good camping with it.

Thanks...I am really looking forward to enjoying it next summer! I have been looking at different trailer options for a while now and this by far ticked the most boxes in the plus column for me. So when I saw this almost brand new one advertised only 2 hrs away I couldn't resist despite winter setting in, although I tried to resist for several weeks watching the Ad on Kijiji! They are made in Canada, so maybe not sold in the USA. Even here, don't see many up for sale!

Crabapple, just curious if you know reason for selling?

Too small? or?

I kept thinking that maybe I bought too small while we were sitting out Thunder & Lightning, etc. and actually all throughout early part of last years only major trip. I.e. how would this moment be with bigger trailer.
http://www.smallrvs.ca/?p=460

At the end I think I confirmed to myself that the size, etc. is just perfect. Easy to haul and manhandle. Minimum towing penalty on gas and performance.
A few of the shortcomings I identified during that trip have been or are being rectified during the winter. They were just comfort related.
Anxious to get out there to confirm all mods good :)

BTW, The Suite has only been out since 2012 I believe, hence not too many in circulation yet.

Heinz, the seller (Ian, who is/was a member of this forum) told me he bought this for travelling around to dog shows. He breeds Rhodesian Ridgebacks. As he described it to me, showing dogs is quite expensive and his dog wasn't "placing" as high as he had hoped. Sounded like he is getting off the dog show merry-go-round and didn't see himself using this anymore. As it was, he claims he only used it 6 times and put maybe 600 miles on it. Some of the items like the porta potti, coolatron, awning, and camp stove were never used, and still have oem plastic wrap on them. There is also a Dometic microwave and Mr Heater propane buddy that were probably used a few times. Ian also added the wheel jack on the tongue. The trailer has obviously been very well cared for, not so much as a scuff mark inside or out that I could see! He had the frame rustproofed at some point, but since I had a some Krown rustproofing spray cans on hand, I re-sprayed the frame myself. Cost me about 3/4 of best price for new that I could find. So far I'm happy, would be happier still if it was May instead of December, we are being hit with 2 ft of snow over 3 days right now!!

I'm with you on that. Thought about pulling it out the other day when we had clear and cold to test solar but turned lazy instead.

Hadn't thought about rustproofing and probably won't since mine is lucky enough to live inside.

Looks like you were well rewarded for your search efforts. You are going to have lots of fun come springtime.

I'm quietly hoping for a cross-country next summer. Quebec, PEI, etc. Took French in night school as part of preparing :)
Didn't get super far but at least know more than before. Need to find French immersion camping.
