Hi Milton, welcome from across the ditch. :shake hands: I love the idea :applause:
I too like the look of the drawing with the beetle back, it just has a better flow. But then it is your decision in the end.
How do you plan to go from the flat sides at the front to the curves of the Caddy at the back?

Thanks for your comments Frank, yes after a lot of thinking and photoshopping the image, I have come up with this final drawing, really when you look at the image the line of the curved roof matches that of the back window, and really all I have done is moved the curved line of teardrop close to the galley door back just past the rear window (which is just the end of the fibreglass copy) to expose the fins a lot more and so that it ends up just like a real 59 Cadillac, I have not lost any room to be honest, now I have sunk the floor of the caddy trunk by 10 inches to allow for a full size 12 volt cooler and a full sink and convection oven, so I have gained the space I lost in the roof line which I could not really use anyway, and all the galley still falls within the genuine trunk lid, so that it keeps the original shape. I have attached the updated picture for you all to look at.
