I have the little red campfire. It’s easy, clean, no risk of carrying harmful pests with fire wood and takes up less space than a typical supply of wood. Making s’mores is more challenging because you don’t get coals, and it can go through propane if you run it on high. But it’s been a good thing for me.

I have a couple of friends with those. Great little fires, especially in no fire forests.

As you can see from my previous picture it's great when you only have 20 minutes in the morning before work with an instant fire on the porch

My friends have this voyager propane fire pit. It’s pricey but it was nice during the fire ban having a bit of ambiance. It puts off decent heat but it eats propane. One nice feature is the lid locks so all the fire rock stays in.

Here in Oregon when the ban is in effect we can only use propane or gas fire pits, stoves, bbqs. No charcoal, pellet or wood allowed.



I prefer using my Solostove Bonfire, but it’s not always allowed,

The volcano grill is an excellent option. Spendy, but it will burn propane, wood or charcoal. It will grill and accomodate dutch ovens easily.

It instantly erects and collapses and has a carry bag. Neat kit for sure.

Of course it can be used as a fire pit too.

I had the Little Red Fire The faux logs were very cheap and broke soon. I replaced them with glass fire beads from Costco. They look much better but are heavier.
