You've been bitten by the bug. There is only 1 cure, as Chip and some of the others will attest to...

You gotta start building.

Is anyone else building this weekend?

Yaa... Storefront, lots of it. :?
Hey, one good thing about having to postpone the camping trip with the kids;
I just got a message from Kai, The Little Range is on it's way! Now I'll be able to do a shake down with it and bake them their pizza. (I just played Kai's message for them, so they don't mind having to wait on the camping trip a bit)

We figured out a name for our teardrop, it will be the Bobcat. I've added a pic to my album of a bobcat, now I've been trying to figure out how to add it to my profile. HELP!!!! I can't seem to get it to come up.

Make sure it's not too big... 150x150 is the max dimensions, and 21K is the max size.

Thanks again Mike. I found where we can order Bobcat decals for the side of the teardrop. Bobcat is a combination of our names, Bob and Cathy.

Now my home state (KY) has the KY Wildcats b-ball team so I am sure you could poke around searching by wildcats and find something similar if you need to. :)

I took that to extremes myself. Ordered the 1175# trailer and when I found out it was out of stock I ended up ordering the 1800# trailer instead since it was in-stock. :) I better build it fast!! I don't have a doghouse to live in when the wifey kicks me out!! :D

Cool name for your tear..... My wife and I are thinking we'll call ours the "Tinkering Turtle". Like the guy said on RV Crazy..."You have to add just a touch of wimzy". I like to think a theme adds class.

For model scale see if you can find a model or diecast model of your tow vwhicle or something darn close to it and build your model to that scale. It gives a much better idea of what you want. That's what I did. Alan

Now that would be one way to keep busy during the cold winter months

Psst... Eric,
Look where Cathy and Bob live.
(It gets just a "little-bit" colder there in the winter time :coldcold: )

Just a little, in fact, campgrounds close the end of Sept., some will close after this weekend. Summer sure flew past this year. Even if you did find a campground open, I think you would want an indoor kitchen. A teardrop wouldn't be nearly big enough for winter camping. Not enough room for boots, parkas, etc.

Cathy,

You will just have to plan a winter trip down here in the sunny south, it's cool enough here in the winter that you won't need the A/C! :lol: And forget the heater, a thin blanket will mostlikely do. When we were in MICH. lot's of people came down for "winter vacations" more like a break from winter! I liked the winters up there, but sometimes they are a little long and a warm, clear sky break is just the ticket.
