Whatcha do on your build today?

Went into work a little late so I could get some saw time in. The majority of my available work time is late at night when anything more than a drill is a no go.
Got a stack of spars ripped down to size.

fill and sand....sand and fill.
A friend of ours came over and brought her 9 year old daughter today. You know any building project attracts kids like kittens to milk, so I put one of my old t-shirts over her clothes, but latex gloves on her, and showed her how to mix body filler :D
She turned out to be a fairly good hand with body filler once she got the hang of it. She finished up filling screrw holes on one side of the camper while I sanded. Nothing like enthusiastic free labor :D

Now that the inch and 3/8th inch hollow core door is bolted to the 40" x 48" HF trailer, I have just installed the 24 inch sides to my roughly 4 x 4 little "Shrunk Bunk" teardrop. Progress is being made, and that's what counts.
8)  So Cal Roly ~~
PS, the yoga lessons I have been taking allow me to sleep with my knees up next to my ears for 4 hours straight, so with a potty break in the middle of the night, I should be able to make it until morning.....Wow.

Sorry I couldn't resist!
Hope it doesn't the progress you have been making this past week!
Darla probably does have better curtain taste, but your floor looks great.

got back to greasing my hubs, bought some wood and bolts, and a drill for metal 3/8 ths. considered my electrical options for the cross bow trailer. Figured out more of the front arch and how to build it. and attach it.

Got my bunkbed all installed and secured and had my son give it a test run. Turned out better than I had imagined. Not cramped at all.

learning some important info on wheel bearings.

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=54854&p=997825#p997825

if you have never built a trailer, only understand that the wheels go round and round, have greased you bearings once but do no know the rules of how to maintain them, then you need to research.

Look up or under search above enter (you might check search your favorite engine as well)
wheel bearings
bearings seal
bearing grease
types of bearing grease
