Built and dry fitted the Hatch, did the doors and framed them....tomorrow I'm going to start the siding and roof.

Well I have kept up with this thread but had nothing to offer!

Today, my welder arrived! Got my gas tank filled and regulator assembled. Soon sparks will fly.

Installed 95% of the siding, laid the rubber roof, trimmed the door openings and started some trim.

I hope to have it weatherized by Sunday.

BTW, I found some wheel covers that fit 12" Harbor Freight wheels, there from a Chevy Sprint. The name of the car they will fit is important. If you ask for a wheel cover for a specific Car they will have them....If you ask for a set for a trailer they'll tell you they don't sell wheel covers for trailers!

Thanks Len! What was a big help was using a big art roller to get any of the air bubbles out. Also I rolled the contact cement on instead of using a trowel.
I like your rubber roof, it looks great :)

I have an old Formica roller....it is the answer.

But I helped a guy do a roof and didn't have one, and I didn't bring mine.....we used his wife's Biscuit Roller, worked just as well!

Took some time to make a couple of hot wire tools for working the foam.
Just drank in the warm, shirt sleeve, weather. :D

Started putting a radio in ours.

I don't whistle so good and I sure as hell can't sing.

Take it easy.

Sat foo tired to write, so I got the wheels and axle on and the whole HF finally assembled. I am so excited. Now to cut up some 1x4s and make a wood frame on top of the HF trailer so it can expand to 5 Feet. :D Sawdust and foam dust at last!!!!

Today is all about tear down. Stripping that pop up to the bare frame. Removing all of the bee, hornet, and mud wasp nests. All of them. Oh, missed another 6 nests. But now that the top is off, I need to find somewhere for all the stuff that I need to keep until I know it won't be needed...

Got a few things done but mostly putting on the galley hatch inner skin and the inside shelf. This is in the last couple works. Check out the build thread for a more thorough description.

I'm in the process of building the flip-down, galley cabinets along with their storage drawers. Everything must flip down within the 24 inch area of the lower section in order to allow lowering the upper section of this "Shrunk-Bunk" TD sleeper, which will only be 2 ft high when on the road, and it's perfect for me and the dog. I have found that engineering is 85 percent of the build and actual construction is the remaining 15 percent, but it keeps me busy and out of the bars.
