Is there anyone from the PNW (that does include Idaho & Montana & B.C. in my books) checking in on the Forum these days?

It's been quiet here since Halloween. Too quiet.

Two things from the monsoon region of Lynnwood :

I've been rebuilding the galley area of my TD including a new hatch cover. The old one never did fit right and it weighed a ton. I also revamped the shelving, etc. I'll try to post some pix later on.

In December I'll be relocating my home base to Ellensburg. That will be my new launching pad for future TD trips.

Added two 10 gallon propane tanks to the tongue and a pair if jerry cans to the sides of my former "Leaking Lena" Little Guy Silver Shadow.
Four 5 gallon water jugs will go inside at the back.
Still haven't decided if I want to install the doors that came off the SS.
I re-licensed as a cargo trailer.

This be my TV now.

So, I guess I'm not a Tear Dropper any more.

We have  not "Used" that much in 156 nights of camping.
Think light man! :)

I'm starting to plan my camping year. I think it goes like this:

Shasta Lake Gathering end of April, beginning of May.
A short hop down to the SF Bay Area for a few days visiting friends
A long hop the length of Calif to the Vegas neighborhood to see some of the scenery there abouts
A long hop over to the Four Corners to spend a week or ten days seeing Zion, Bryce, etc.
A long hop up the Front Range of the Rockies to visit friends in eastern Colorado
A long hop over the Rockies to SLC
SLC to Boise or thereabouts
Home

About 4 weeks on the road, plus or minus, getting back to Southern Oregon early to mid-June

Any suggestions of specific places along that general route are welcome. I doubt I'll make it to BC this year ;-(

Your trip sounds Great Charlie.
Thanks for sharing it with everyone :applause: I am sure you are going to get some visit offers, for along the way! ;)
But, we are really going to miss you at the Farm Gathering this year........but we will have some fun at the Shasta Lake Gathering.
Although, this year we might have to use smaller glasses........... so the beer will last until Saturday!
Happy New Year!

IDAHO? So much opportunity....so little happening???????? :(
I am still looking for someone to step to the plate on behalf of the Tear Jerkers, and help represent our PNW Chapter.
We need to promote more events in Idaho!
Let's get some chatter going here!
On a second note....Has any camped a Farrgut State Park?

Glad to see Teardrop Gatherings are #1 on your list.
And just a warning.....don't even look up "Cycle Karts"
I only have one more Football Game to get through and then I can get my weekends back to work on Kermit and go Camping.
But, Football has given me lots of couch time to work on the 2016 Fall Crawl
It is going to be amazing! ;)
Oh, and there are others in IDAHO that could pick up the gauntlet????

And a week going to the Painted Hills, Wallowa Mountains and Lake, and Hells Canyon for a boat ride. This year will be short trips mostly also and will check out more State Parks. My trailer is ready for action.

Hi Lorelei
Thanks for sharing.
What route did you take over to the painted hills?
Have you ever camped at Lake Billy Chinook.......Cove Palisades SP.
And if you have never driven Hwy 242 from McKenzie Bridge to Sisters (you have to like narrow and windy), but it is beautiful and FUN!
We have a little mom & pop campground we stay at in McKenzie Bridge. The route south to Oakridge from MB is also a nice drive.
There is soooo much to see in Oregon.
