I don't know about efficient, but when I look at a galley, I want to see potential. Potential with a vision. Efficient potential with a vision. And a blank slate.

Hey, I've got one of those. :)

If you have a plan, post a drawing.

And thanks for bringing this thread back on track.

Cat...unfortunately Yahoo does not allow hot linking to your pics on their site...I went in to your post and edited out the "Img" tags to make them urls........

Thanks Jack, but I'm still confused on how I would get a pic into my post.

Cat, your pic must be hosted on a site that allows hot linking...your album here on the board is an excellent choice...pull the pic up, highlight the url, copy it, paste it into a post, highlight it and click the "Img" button above and your pic will appear.....

I hate this * thread. When I started getting interested in TD's, I promised myself that when I make the plunge that "COOKING" would not be part of my TD experience. I cook at home, I cook everytime I go to fishing camp, go hunting, etc, etc.... I cook for my buddies on Sunday night....... Oh well, you get the picture.
Then I start reading this forum and before I know it I am planning a kitchen, I start thinking Dutch Oven and other things.......
I have 3-6 great plans for a galley that would allow me to cook ...... I have no self control.

I have even designed the TD around the kitchen...... I hope to have room to sleep.......
There was a picture of a side-slide out that held the stove and things within the past month. I don't think it was a member's TD, but a pic taken at a gathering. I saved the pic , but somehow I deleted it. .....
Can anyone help me with this pic??????

I am looking forward to coming to some gatherings and learn DO cooking........ I use cast iron exclusivly here at home......

* unless I can figure a way to piggyback several TD's behind me.......

Wolfix...that's what's great about a thread like this...It will cause others to see what can be done and different ways to do the same old thing...check with Dean...he's doing a dutch oven thing in his tear...Doug

I love seeing all the neat things..... The interesting thing is I think part of the fun in tear dropping is going to be the building process....

But everytime I think I have mine figured out....... Bam!!!!!!! Something really neat comes along. There are a few TD's on here that are so unique.

This forum is addictive...... 8)

Wolfix, is this the TD you're thinking of? It's a Lassen View Teardrop,

Yepper...That's the one. Thank you..... That one really stuck in my mind. The galley wouldn't be large enough for me to get carried away. I have a tendency to that when it comes to cooking.... .......
On Saturdays, a few of us guys get together and drink coffee. Today they told me that I couldn't talk about TD's and my new ideas about what i should build.
I need new friends. LOL

Wolfix...just remind them that if you can't talk about your galley...you might just forget how to cook for them on the Sunday nights you previously mentioned...I'll bet they let you talk about it... Doug
