I got mine from my Dad. He's the Sr.

Normally I use NicksGarage as my user name for forums since that is the name of one of my websites but on here I wanted to use my real name as I did on the other teardrop forum which required it.

Nick.

I got tagged when I lived in Texas. We were close to Louisiana & I worked with some Cajuns & got to be freinds with one , he was a mechanic & I worked on computers & he started calling me Boodro , so it stuck. I have personalized plates on my tow vehicle that says boodro too. 8)

We based ours on two of our hobbies...
"Garden" for Lois's gardening.
"Wood" for Roger's woodworking.

BTW our trailer will be called the "Caboose' after another of Roger's hobbies, garden railroading.

I've had this screen name knock-off of Densa since Mosaic and bulletin boards were the internet. Heard of Mensa? Densa is parady. Here's a current version on the web:

I was looking at Vino's; that would be a great toy stuck on the back of a teardrop. A nice pit bike/campground bike.

It's a little bit of French! "Chez" translates to "the house of", RAD are my initials. It also works well since my wife's first name starts with an "A" as well. So, "chezrad" tanslates to "the house of Rick and Anita DeWeese" It's also fitting because I was born in France while my Dad was in the US Army as a crypto guy in the 1960's. (the family returned to the states when I was about 1 month old.) So, having been born there, I figured..why not. :D

Catrinka was a nickname a friend gave me back in high school and I've used it as a chat name for many years. And Dean, you can meet great people online. That's how Bob and I met, not at online dating but in a chatroom and then later at a chat party. That was 3 years ago now.

After an old TV show ;) that starred William Smith, Peter Brown and Neville Brand (which was filmed in California, on the same back lot as Lancer and about a thousand other Westerns, and lied about the Texas Rangers like nothing before and not much since, except the pilot episode of Walker -- it's a whole lot longer than a four-hour drive from the Mexican border to Fort Worth!) that really helped me get over being homesick for Texas when my folks up and moved to the Ozarks in the '60s.

Also, folks have heard of Laredo, and can pronounce it. My real hometown -- Lady Raidertown, home of Texas Tech -- is not so recognizable.

For some reason I seem to attract friends with the name Bob. Well when we all get together and we all get on the same volley ball team, some smart-allac will yell, “Get it Bob!” Hence we now have Texas Bob, Canadian Bob (as opposed to Newfie Bob), Main Bob… and then me, Florida Bob. When it came time to start picking on-line handles, this one seemed perfect. In one line, you know who I am and where I’m from.

Hey I was an Army crypto/interpreter guy late 60's Berlin, Germany. My mom was born in Berlin. My dad who was in the US Army married her there in 1946 but I was born in Texas.

I use GeorgeT here but usually use Uncle George on other sites. Someone on a Honda CRV forum put that handle on me a few years ago and it stuck. Don't know why I didn't use it here. I shortly found out after I had registered with it that there is a George T. on this site. Tried to change it but couldn't figure out how so I hope it's not confusin' anyone. :D
