General Discussion about almost anything Teardrop or camping related

Gee Wizz,

I don't know what every one's problem is. Couple of months ago a sister sent me a package. She put a very old address on it. A form that the PO had stopped using about 15 years ago, or more. And I had moved from that location anyway. It got to me me just fine and nobody bitched.

Way back in 1968 I went to college in Moscow Idaho. Another sister that was in the 2nd grade sent me a letter. The only address on it was

Randy

Moscow

It got to me in 2 days. And what was even more amazing in Moscow there is a PO for the city and one for the University. Both have the same Zip Code, somehow. Just try that with your email, ever. Or any shipping company ever. And yes, I know the PO could not get it today. They scan addresses with machines and machines don't care. Of course just how high would the stamps cost if it was still sorted by hand?

Of course back then we lived in a kind of small area. But we where rather new to the area only living there since 1957.

The PO that the package went through here is a much larger one. Probably serves 7,000 people.
