Cliff
I got the center caps from Advantage auto. A local auto parts store.
And I got the trim rings from Auto zone. Also a local auto parts store.
I'm looking to put a pair of 1994 Ford ranger Aluminum rims on my trailer along with a pair of custom fiberglass fenders. I will also lower it about 4"
That is if no one buys it. Image

If I do get to put on the new wheels your welcome to the old ones.
Just pay for the shipping.

Caseydog also used these same hubcaps on his wheels. Here is a picture of his trailer.

I have seen other pictures of the same hubcaps on trailers on this forum, but I am unable to locate them right now.

Yup. I got mine from Hupcap Mike. They fit perfectly on my white-spoke wheels. They have them in 13, 14 and 15 inch sizes.

Thanks Wayne let me know when you get them on there, but I'm hoping you sale it as you've been trying for a while now. Its one of the most beautiful woodies I've seen on here.

These are designed to work with their 14inch Steel Wheels (White or Black)

Those won't work on the white spoke wheels that many trailers use. The full moons are the only ones I know of that work. Those, and the "racing discs."

nevadatear wrote:Thanks, everyone, you have been a great help, like always. After proposing your options to Randy, (me being the "poking at cha" person in the family, and the internet surfer,) what he really wants is chrome/aluminum spoked rims, so I did a little research and found http://www.trailer-wheels.com/ which has 37 different 14" 5 lug 4.5 trailer wheels, with many in our price range of @ 60-80 $ each. Since we haven't bought anything new for Monstreo this year, and he might be feeling neglected, Randy says "maybe we will just order them! (he was going to talk to the local tire place/wrecker and see what they get in on wrecked cars) instead of waiting for the right wrecked trailer ones.

Anyone do business with the company? Looking at maybe something like this:

Opinions?

Since you asked for opinions, I think you would be better off with moon hubcaps. They look more "period" for a teardrop. Modern wheels just don't look right on a vintage style trailer, IMO.

There you go.

That what I used.

Mark,

Those hubcaps just press on the existing trailer wheel? Any modification or anything required?

Nope. You can put them on with a rubber mallet, or with the butt of your hand.
