Hello Mike and all you other guys on the forum: I am close to having a campable TD trailer. It is all because of this website that gave me the confidence to try and tackle this very large undertaking. I have learned so much reading all of the great posts and by watching others build their TDs that I already want to build a "Standie" now. I am a donating member and Mike, I am sending you another donation today. Let me know what you come up with in the new design(s).

Thanks again to everyone on here.

I do like Doug's Nomad design...

I voted other because I love the simplicity of my teardrops. Oh yeah, I have my Campomatic if I need to stand up. ;)
Cheers
Paul

Mike,
I think I'd like to try a "Winter Warrior."
I like the idea of standing room then closing it down for towing.
Thanks for keeping the site going.
Steve

Oh the heck with it, Mike you can keep my donation even if you don't come up with a plans CD to sell.

Pete

Figure with all the help/info I got from here, it's worth the donation. As far as plans, I love the Wild Goose/Kampmaster. A standy, in a tear drop style, how could you go wrong

I voted other because I would have paid $30 for the gen ben plans alone. I think putting something along the lines of the gen ben together and a few other TD profiles along with some frame designs on one disk, and a second disk with some standies, and some standie frame designs...

Thank god we don't have adds, I hope it never comes to that. Now an add forum might work, a place for companies to put paid advertisements. A place to go when you are ready to buy.

I think most of us stumble into this forum looking for a solution to the problem of camping in a manner that suits our needs.

This forum covers ideas from the very basic 4x8 to the almost very thing including the kitchen sink designs. Whatever suits you needs/budget.

Speaking of budgets, some builders spend less than a few thousand, and some just a little bit more than that.

When one thinks of the total money spend on a trailer, a $10, $20 or even $50 is really not that much. Were else can you go and get instruction to build something you really love, asked lots of questions and get real live and honest answers to problems that keep you from moving forwards in you quest to go camping in a style that suits your needs.

I said it before and I'll say it again.........

a big THANK YOU to Mike and the forum moderators for giving us a place to meet, learn new skills and make friends along the way.
So, if the forum has been a help to you in your quest, consider making a donation. Be it small or large, it all adds up for Mike to keep things running along.
Wolfgang
