One begins to wonder as mankind continues to screw up nature(gulf oil spill, nuke meltdowns, etc.) ,If the bizarre weather we are experiencing is not because of these disasters...In our area we have had record rainfall, flooding of biblical proportions, and now heat indexes of over 110...Danny

Sure. The extinction of dinosaurs, the ice age, global warming all happen because of us.

:o  107* degrees out today! That N. Pole was a bit wilted as it passed us today! I am not hearing a lot about record highs yet!

Cowboy---Humidity above 60% when it is hot is not for the faint! Hailey's wading pool was above 100* and she had to get help to remove the mermaids.

My son, daughter and I put up 165 bales of hay this weekend, was 110 when we went to get the last load yesterday.I buffed on my aluminum skin Sat evening and was glad no one had a camera. The combination of sweat, fuzzys from the buffer and the black residue, lets just say it wasn't pretty.

us ranchers shaded up in the heat of the day in the afternoons.

we work while most people are in bed when its cool.

Slow, Thats what we did on saturday, but there were some storms brewing SW of us so we had to get it out of the feild.of coarse it never rained after we went to the trouble. We are having a big shortage of hay this year due to lack of moisture some are asking $8.00 for prairie hay,I took all I could get for $4.50.

71 degrees here
I wouldn't live long with the temps you guys are having.
I'm only 2 miles up from the Mukilteo Ferry landing on Puget Sound.
We rarely get super hot or super cold this closr to the Sound.
