Sorry Verna, once again I was not clear I was talking about my two Big trips in my TD, taking the boys (dogs) and having air Conditioner in the TD. I wouldn't worry about the tent, If I can suffer at the camp ground heat so can they. I don't use the air at home much I am too old and Not spoiled to AC I remember when cars didn't have any and remember when my aunt got her first air conditioner because she slept during the day and it was too hot to sleep. There were open windows, the smells of the farm and maybe a fan. evenings were spent on the front porch in the swing and rocking chairs. If it weren't for noisy people seeing the boys (with open windows) and calling the police (they do in GA) I would take them more often. With some type ac unit I could leave them in the TD in walmarts parking lot and then I could shop and not worry and leave stickers on the TD saying the dogs are safe with air conditioning on.
