Tony. Do you folks up there in Salmon even get TV yet?

I like to put down my jacks. Trailer rocks to much when I move around inside.

as for getting stuff stollen out of your yard get a engraver and engrave your name and last 4 # of your ss# or DL # and if you find it they can prove it was theirs when it has all your info on it and cops love open shut cases and off to jail they go Our sand drag teams had about 4 trailers stollen this year with tools and cars in them and all was found with in 2 weeks of day they where stolen because they posted right after it happened and everyone was on the look out for them.

Is Tony in Salmon? We camped there one night a couple of years ago. We were followed into the park by a fellow in a Model T Rat Rod.
There were forest fires in the mountains at the time so it was so smokey when we woke up in the morning we could not see across the campground.

Nothing wrong with TV if one uses some self restraint, IMO. Of course that rule applies inside our home as well as inside the cabin.

When a nebie posts a question about TVs, I:

A. try and answer question. This forum is about helping people and I enjoy contributing.
B. have nothing usefull to offer but I'll make sure and post what I feel about TVs; no one should be using a TV and people should camp according to MY rules.

A, as long as the TV audio is quiet enough so it doesn't bother other folks and as long as you don't have to run a noisy generator thru the night to watch it.

In my humble opinion. :R Randy

Ditto...

We don't want watch much tv when not camping so when we camp we enjoy a quiet movie on our tv inside our teardrop before we drift off to sleep.

Fer now, we've got a black and white channel, but there's been some serious rumors down at the trading post about gitting us some color channels if'n the fur prices continue on this upward trend. Water rats er up to d@mn near $6!

Tony

p.s. I think Slow hit it on the head as far as stabilizer jacks go. It's a matter of where your axle is. Got twenty pounds of tongue weight, you're probably gonna want some stabilizer jacks back there...

I was thinking that we mostly missed the biggest reason for stabilizers. Leveling the trailer.

Not to endorse any certain company but as I searched around, I found a lot of great deals on parts for my teardrop. Here's what I used for mine.

http://www.classacustoms.com/4-pk-24-25 ... 4-25CR.htm

FOr $60, couldnt be beat! They also carry a pair for $32. The bulk of my electrical parts and RV designated hardware came from these folks.

ON a side note, There are guys (companies) on here that promote and endorse TNTTT.com, if they have parts for my tear, I used them first.
