I use Mike B here, but everywhere else on the Net, I use MycroftMkIV. That is a reference to a character in one of my favorite books - "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress" by Robert Heinlein.

I believe that's supposed to be five without the umlout (SP?, the 2 dots over the U) don't have that on our keyboards.

If you want ü then just hold down the ALT key, type in 0252 and let up. If you want a good little program that will give you all of these extra keys take a look at FontViewer. The extra symbols that I use a lot are º, ¼, ½, ¾, ect.

To clarify matters, Mike is using a Mac and the info that I gave on the fontviewer program is for the PC.

The PC version is free at http://www.download.com/FontViewer/3000 ... 86058.html

I keep forgetting that the smarter computer users have Macs.

Actually I use a Wintel... Michelle uses a Mac. Of course I have a laptop with Ubuntu, and and thinking about loading up BEOS again. Does my handheld with HPC2000 and Win CE.net count for anything?
