They are called "Fido Floats" and are super good life jackets...come in XXS to XL. I ordered ours from Doctors Foster & Smith. They've lasted one dog for 3-years and the other one 2-years.
LOL Yes, we have to put a leash on the dogs, to keep them from floating downstream. We have one dog in each kayak, and each dog has a leash. With those life jackets, they'd just float away. Besides the life jackets, I sometimes use a long leash to clip to the life jacket and the kayak itself, so I can reel them back in if I am in fast moving water.
