He doesn't appear to have posted since he announced he was crook, and the rest of the family had the 'rona.

Built me some pizzas tonight.
Ran the oven floor at a touch over 710 degrees F.
About 380C.
First pizza was just tomato, cheese, bacon and prosciutto.
Note the time stamps - this was a 2 and half minute pizza.

Mick, is your "bacon" what we commonly refer to as Canadian Bacon?

Had to consult DR Google to answer you.
We have three cuts of bacon, though they have plenty of different names, depending who is trying to sell it to yo.
But they are generally shortcut, streaky, and middle cut.
Shortcut is the lean roundish bit off the back of the pig.
The streaky is the fatty bit from the pork belly.
The middle cut combines the two, one big cut.

I think Canadian Bacon would be roughly equivalent to what we call shortcut bacon?
I find it a bit too lean and dry.
I prefer the middle cut, which is pretty much the streaky bacon and the shortcut bacon left in one piece. The rashers are at least 12 inches long.
I used to diligently trim the rind off, until the day I got my son to prep it and he left it on to no noticeable detriment.

Thanks mate.
Considering how good your photos look, I take this as a very high compliment.

One thing I haven't mastered is the big diameter pizzas. I aim for 12 inches, generally the crust pulls back a little. Those are 9 inch bricks in the oven floor, for scale. The arch is 16 inches across, so can't go too big. Fortunately, at 2 to 3 minutes per pizza I can really knock 'em out when I get a head of steam up. Started out dreaming of 60-90 second Margheritas, and this oven will do them no worries at all, but everyone else prefers what I call "Fat Aussies". Lots of toppings.
I built this oven small so I could use it to feed just the family without many hours of heating. It fulfilled that aim, but the one I helped my mate (also Mick) is much bigger, and we can run a much bigger pizza in it. It's great for parties. He refused to hide our brick laying with insulation and stucco, but it performs very well.

My workshop is a mess. I have spent the last couple of days sorting, and labeling my fasteners / small parts bins. This is a tedious process.

Painted a multi photo frame my wife bought black, but wanted white...

Did I mention the tedius sorting and labeling process? Yeah, that is ongoing...

Crimpers, and crimp collars for air hose arrived, my barb x MPT fittings got lost in shipping, Amazon had to reship.

I am making custom length jumpers from the compressor to the oil separator, dryer, and regulator assembliy.

Going through the house, and shop, finding any loose tools, and putting them back where they belong.

Started searching for an 8" jointer. I ran into the limits of my 6" benchtop model one too many times....
