Doug:
You have raised the bar skyhigh for anyone building a TD with an ORIGINAL idea. Congrats on the best job I have ever seen. I will be taking many pics of your build when you come down for reentry at Minden. Have a safe trip and Gods speed!!

Doug,

I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. The Rocketear is just incredible! :applause: Someday I hope she'll fly through or near the Lonestar state, and I'll get the chance to see her up close.

Well done my friend, well done!

Doug,

That has to be one of the most magnificent things I have ever seen. Once you are on the road, you will not be able to stop, because the crowd you will attract will keep you from ever getting started again. I love the design, and your workmanship sets off the design perfectly.

Wow! Incredible tear, Doug! The best theme design I've ever seen! The silver finish, fender skirts and Caddy tail lights really give it character!

Doug,

I was impressed by your first build. Amazed by the second. And speachless by the third. You have certainly raised teardrop building to an art form. I'm serious when I say that the Rocketeer should be in a museum.

 :applause:  :applause:

Be safe on your journey!

Joanne

Oh, you may want to take your tarps along. Just before you stop for gas you can pull over and cover the tear. Otherwise it could take you months to get to Minden....

As you were...

That's absolutely amazing, Doug. Just outstanding work, and what a beautiful rendition of an awe-inspiring, original design. I hope you enjoy this one a lot, and for a long time.

Nicely done sir. The finish looks wonderful in the photos. It looks like all the prep work really paid off. You want to sand mine for me?
