What about an old fashioned bed warmer. One of those long handled pans you heat with embers from the fire.

Considering that you can't get away from your mattress in a teardrop, it seems like the easiest solution is to use a heated mattress pad before you turn in.

Something like that under your sheet and on top of the mattress. 6.7 amp/hour draw with a thermostat.
The more stuff I take along, the more time I spend taking care of my stuff!

When I was a kid sleeping in my parents basement I used to put a slab of soapstone on the wood stove. Wrap it in a small blanket and put it at me feet when I went to bed. Worked very well. Just heat up some rocks in the fire for bed time. No battery drain, no open flames, and thousands of recharges. Remember the bed warmers?

I have Wiley window so I can replace the window panel with what ever I like.
I just thought of a ideal.
Replace the window with fiber cement board with hole for a 12 bowl(dog dish)mounted in the center facing in with a small fan to move the air over it. On the outside have hinged panel to make a box(shelf and windguards. Then set a small propane buddy heater on the shelf outside facing the bowl. A person would have a fully vented heater that was almost factory made. Yes it would take more propane to heat the teardrop but it would be safe and easy to build. One would use the roof vent and a second window if it got to warm.
What do you guys think??
