what does the back end of that house boat look like?

I bet I can get a motor on it.

just might need a steering wheel on this one.

slow

Oh yes you can put a motor on it. A steering wheel is not neccessary with this design as it is open up the middle as you can see here.

You can drive your livingroom to your favorite fishing spot and sit on the front porch and fish. You could put the rod on a holder and go take a nap.

This is not boating in the usual sense. It is not a planing hull it is more of a plow. You are going 3 miles an hour tops. I think this photo gives the typical steering position.

and it looks like a fishing machine!!!!!!!!!!

hmmmmmm! looks very very tempting!!!!!!!!!

camp spots all filled go out on the lake luanch and don't come in till your ready to go home!

and camp for free on the lake.

interesting

just pick a day with no wind.

I am not sure what this would do in wind on a lake in wyoming.

I am sure this would be a canadate for a high moutain lake where wind is not to much of a issue.

slow

Wind is certainly an issue with this boat. The designer considered using an electric trolling motor but the big problem there is trying to us it in the wind. Apparently a 2 or 5 hp motor has no problem moving it in the wind. Also this kind of boat is very stable. It is said that you can stand on one corner and the boat only drops down 2 inches.

That would be my kind of fishing. The other cool thing about it is you can beach it. Not a lot of boats with beds built into them that you can do that with.

This photo is looking from the galley/motor area towards the front. Notice the door board has been dropped in place. Under the door notice the storage access to underneath the deck. That whole under deck area is storage. You can put a big tent and sleeping bags in there. All your camping equipment. If you got tired of being on the water pull up ashore and pitch a tent.

Hey Slow,
I have one of those oneman pontoon boats. I built a transom on the back and used a trolling motor. I love it. Instead of a battery, I used a rechargable power station. I built a small deck on the back to support the power station. I used a refrigerator shelf. That thing would put out a wake. More comfortable than a kayak. The problem that I have now is that mice bit a hole in my air bladder. Gotta patch it and get back out there. I also rigged up some wheels that slides out for rolling the boat down a ramp and slides in for boating. Mine is a Trout Unlimited Madison and delivered it was 275.00
I have wisdom beyond my years. In fact, I'm nearly senile.
