Well looks like I will have a few more satellite dishes this weekend thanks to Jeff2.

Have 4 walkers ready and waiting for them and will complete them as soon as I get back from our Indiana Tearjerkers spring gathering this weekend!

:applause:

Slow : It is the cooking table. It has made a hugh batch of veggie soup at the shivaree in January. 3-4 hours total

A hugh meat loaf in March at a party 2 hours

and 2 patio cookouts at home. 3 hours

Total hours stacked with hot coals about 8-9 hours and zero damage. The paint even still looks good.

Picked up more lynch pins and conduit clamps at lunch today stocking up for some new builds next week.

Well we sold 2 walker dutch oven tables at the CRA gathering.

As you can see in the picture still had a few left

Newest idea is to make the shelf into a work table clip on top.

Slow, they could send one via FedEx or UPS. I have two dishes in the garage just waiting for walkers. Scored both dishes the same day while running my delivery route. One at the end of a driveway, the other in the dumpster at an apartment complex.

Walker

I bet someone has already done it but how about using the walker to support your camp stove. All it needs is a level top.

After some experience with the table I am working on a mount for the lower shelf. It could then be moved up top as a flat prep table , cutting board , or counter space for a cook top. All still in one package.

Welcome to the club ! I hope you like yours as much as I like mine.

Now ya gotta get your shelf built to rest on the bottom leg supports. With a little ingenuity you should be able to add more 3/4 emt pipe clamps to the shelf and have it able to fasten on top as a prep table.

I was bored at work this week and was trolling old posts with weird search words and while over at Camp cook I found this.......

http://www.camp-cook.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=801&start=0

I would like to go on record as saying I had not seen it prior to building my version of the satellite dish D.O. table but I can no longer claim the concept as totally mine. It seems Joanne had perfected her variation of the satellite dish table a couple years back.

yep shelves and other accessories are coming. I'll probably get more use out of this DTV table than I ever did out of the Satellite service for what it cost me.

The biggest problem I can see with using a satellite dish is you'll have 200 recipes and still nothing that you want to eat

Is it just me or does the pic of all the "walkers" sitting around the campsite FREAK anyone else out just a bit?

Neat idea on getting the DO up at standing level to cook on, though. We just use a $1.99 cheapo Pizza Pan from Wally World and set it on two bricks to keep it up off the ground or Picnic table.
